Miniature flanged deep groove ball bearings are precision bearings with an integral flange (locating ring) formed on one side of the outer ring, designed for applications where bore diameters range from 1.5 mm to 9 mm. The flange allows the bearing to be retained axially in the housing without a separate circlip, end cover, or housing shoulder — making them ideal for compact, lightweight assemblies.
These bearings share the same internal geometry, load capacity, and speed performance as standard miniature deep groove ball bearings. The flange is formed as part of the outer ring and does not alter dynamic or static load ratings.

D is the bearing outer diameter (excluding flange), Df is the flange (total) outer diameter, and Bf is the flange width — the values needed to machine the housing bore and axial locating face. Ultra-thin miniature flanged bearings — the flanged version of the 618xx thin-section series. Bore range 1.5 – 9 mm. Used where the thinnest possible cross-section is required (e.g., F683, F685, F688).
F69x Series (619xx flange)
Thin-section miniature flanged bearings — the flanged version of the 619xx series. Bore range 2 – 9 mm. Slightly thicker than the 68 series, offering higher load capacity (e.g., F693, F696, F698).
F60x & F62x Series
Standard-section miniature flanged bearings covering the 600xx and 620xx size lines (e.g., F603–F609, F623–F629). These provide a more robust cross-section for applications needing greater radial capacity while retaining the flange for axial location.
Equivalent Designations
The F-prefix naming follows ISO convention: for example, F688 corresponds to a 688 deep groove ball bearing with integral flange, and F698 corresponds to a 698 with flange. Cross-references to major manufacturers' part numbers are available upon request.
When ordering, please specify the complete designation (e.g., F688, F688-2RS, F688-ZZ) to ensure correct supply. All models are available in Open, 2RS (rubber sealed), and ZZ (shielded) configurations.
