Miniature Deep Groove Ball Bearings
Product Overview & Technical Guide
Introduction
Miniature deep groove ball bearings are precision rolling bearings designed for applications with limited installation space and light to moderate radial loads. With bore diameters typically ranging from 1 mm to 9 mm, they offer a favorable combination of compact size, low friction, and high rotational accuracy. Available in open, shielded (ZZ), and sealed (2RS) configurations, they are widely used across precision machinery, automation, and consumer electronics.
Key Features
Compact cross-section for space-constrained designs
Low noise and smooth rotation at high speeds
Open, ZZ shielded, and 2RS sealed options
Bearing Steel rings and balls for durability
Suitable for both radial and limited axial loads
Construction & Materials
Consist of an inner ring, outer ring, steel balls (rolling elements), and a cage. Rings and balls are made of Bearing Steel; the cage is typically a Steel Cage. Open type allows for relubrication, ZZ types use steel shields for dust protection, and 2RS types use rubber seals for enhanced contamination resistance.
Manufacturing & Performance
Precision polished raceways ensure smooth rotation and low noise. Optional anti-corrosion coating is available for enhanced durability in humid or high-temperature environments. Stable performance under continuous operation with wide temperature tolerance.
Typical Applications
•Electric motors and gearboxes
•Printers, copiers, and office automation
•Medical devices and dental instruments
•RC models, drones, and hobby electronics
•Small household appliances
•Instrumentation and measuring equipment
•Skateboard, inline skate, and scooter wheels
Available Series
Covering metric standard-section (60x / 62x / 63x), thin-section (67x / 68x / 69x), MR metric miniature, and R inch series. Metric sizes follow ISO bore codes; R series uses inch bores (e.g. R4 = 1/4").

Equivalent Designations
Miniature deep groove ball bearings are produced to ISO / ABMA dimensional standards and are interchangeable with major manufacturers' designations. Suffixes follow common industry practice: ZZ for steel shields, 2RS for rubber seals. The MR and R series follow proprietary miniature bearing naming conventions.
